kalaaaahhh laahhh~~

last nite i was in this competition called mooting. frankly, i am content with my team preparation. we have strong cases to support and strong arguments as well. we compare and contrast everything. we even provide a strong provision to support the respondent.

however, we still lost the case.

actually the issue right now is not that i try to persuade people to agree with me that my team deserve to win. but the issue here is how the judge judging. i am a bit disappointed with the judge last nite. he only comments that the applicant present the case well while my team is a bit lack of confidence. and because of that my team had lose the case.

yes i am not ok with that call "judgment". if the presentation is all about and not the content of the presentation, then dun ever have the applicant and respondent. maybe a public speaking contest is the appropriate one instead of mooting.

i am not the only one that face the above situation, some of my friends also face the same thing. it's all about presentation. and it could be that the judge had already set in their mind that they are with applicants.

anyhu...what pass is pass. this competition really makes me realize that no matter how good is your submission, it's all depends on judge.

i'm still not happy with my first ever submission, cuz i know that my team deserve to win this case. maybe our presentation is not fluent as them but in terms of the submission content, i believe that my team had done well.

anywayyy...still congrats to the applicants!! yes i do agree with the judge that u guys had present the case well!
